Very good so far & it eats , which relieves me.
I'm also rearing some larvae... hope I'll be able to raise them

Terry - I think Jennifer Macke, who maintains the CC site makes the decision on photo of the month.

Great shots Henk. Did you buy the Minolta DSLR in the end? I have my eye on the new Canon EF-S 60mm macro lense but need to save my pennies first...

Well guys thanks for the compliments regarding the shots, but most of the credits should go to the animals... for being patient with me turning the knobs and preparing the shots. But aren't they photogenetic ??

They are absolutely photogenic!
The animal on photo 2 almost looks like a Gila monster! ( purely my imagination but true!)

Well the kweichowensis certainly is, every worm I throw in has practically no chance of escaping...

It's doing very well so far... and I think I will make some more shots of it during this weekend. THe larvae are metamorphosing now and the juveniles -so far- eat well on land. I'll keep my thumbs crossed
