I took a lot of pictures for a friend earlier today, and i thought it would be nice to share a few of them. The quality is awful (and these are the best one, ha!), sorry.

In order:
-N.n.viridescens female
-I.a.apuanus young males (finally starting to show adult coloration, i´m thrilled!!!)
-T.d.dobrogicus male
-C.p.sasayamae male
-C.p.sasayamae larvae
-C.p.sasayamae larva inside egg (cute :))
-H.orientalis larvae (i already have 26 in total...*shudder*)

I hope you enjoy them, i sure enjoy seeing pics of other people´s animals xD

Nice pics :)
Dead jealous of the C.orientalis, when did yours start laying this year?

Memory fails, as usual, i think perhaps late October?? Later than in previous years.
However the first eggs were eaten, the larvae in the pics are younger than that.

You were right, our pyrrhos are identical! This could be one of mine
I am very jealous of your plants. Your tanks look like a proper jungle!
Just out of curiosity, what are your water parameters (eg hardness, pH) - if you have those handy?

Nice pictures , the C.p. sasayame male is stunning and i like how spicky the crest is in your Dobrogicus , dont know why but my males got all the same "ondulated" crest .
Thanks for sharing

Nice photos Rodrigo. New camera for Christmas? ;)

The parents of your alpines are busy courting and the tank floor is dotted with spermatophores this morning. Yours look close to being ready. I kept a pair of their siblings which are now in with the adults. Despite their small size they're getting involved in the breeding action. It's funny to see a big adult female being frantically fanned by a male half her size (especially as she's probably his mother!).

Eva, i can´t give you exact numbers on my parametres, it´s been quite a long while since i last checked them at all :S
Our pyrrhogaster are trully similar, i wonder if both our groups come from the same bloodline.

Ah Mark, i wish xD Same old camera as always....same old crappy pics....
So far there´s only one male apuanus that is looking ready, the other two are still behind. I´m not too confident they´ll breed although the females are rather fat, but hey, it would be a very nice surprise!
I don´t believe i´ve thanked you enough for them, yet, Mark, so THANX! I love them :D

A couple more shots of my other T.dobrogicus male.

Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.

Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
