The pics are old, I'm gonna pick up a digital this weekend.

I love these guys. When i move to a bigger apartment/house i might pick up a few. I like how you have the habitat set up. So a tunnel going from the dry area to a wet area? Your tigers have very nice patters.

Thanks. It took some time but that is the final result of 5 previous setups. There are 5 hiding spots on the dry side and 1 spot where they like to burrow. The water on the wet side gets changed every 2 weeks with ice mountain water(The tap water in my building is hard) The whole thing is modular the caps on the connecting pipes can screw into the sides of the tanks and the best thing is the tanks are rubbermaid 55 gallon storage containers so not a bunch of $$$$,I had a 200 gallon aquarium but I'm 35 floors up and that thing is not fun to move around. They love that tunnel I've seen the 2 girls compete for it.

35 floors up....that is why i live on the second floor....of a building with only 2 floors. and a 20 gal. long is a pain to carry up the the apartment, i can imagine hauling a 200 gal every time i move. You have a nice view of the skyline? i have a nice view of the top of the sears ^^

plus anyways, your rubbermaid habitat is more interesting looking than a rectangular glass aquarium.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
