Hey all

Here are a few photos, not the best in the world....hehehe...of my 4 (now three) 1-1.5 inch CFB Newts.

The first pic is three of them; the fourth is in the second pic, chilling out under the stream. Pic three is the stream and pic 4 show the underwater end of the stream. ....any suggestions are welcomed, on both photo and habitat....lol.

Any ideas on how to get bely shots without a lot of handling or luck on them just being in the right spot ....lol.

thanks

I really like the design of your tank. Good Luck on your new newts!

Thank you!! two have perked up considerable, just one is touch and go now it seems.....but thanks again.

Very nice. I like the design. Is that ghost wood from Black jungle?

thanks.......Its just a piece of driftwood I found and cleaned while out in the woods, all my wood is. It use to float, but with a tad of imagination from me, it became a stream.

thanks again

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
