So many twins!

Hi everyone
Haven't been here in awhile, hope you are all well and your axies as well
My wildtype laid some more eggs yesterday. I looked at them and was amazed to
find about 11 sets of twins and at least one set of triplets! :O

I was just curious how common that was? Has anyone else ever had heaps of them?
I was quite excited to see so many!

congrats....sorry I dont really know the answer to your question but from what i have read twins are common but I have no idea about triplets. Can you please keep us informed on their development. I would love to see the photos.

Absolutely! I wasn't expecting this batch but I'll definitely keep a few so you can see their development
I'm excited to see three little bodies grow in one embryo

Unfortunately one of the triplets hasn't formed so they are only twins now

Sadly most of the sets of twins failed to develop properly. The triplets (minus one) hatched and became mixed up with all the others. (All my babies look identical anyway)
I only have one developed twin egg left so here is a photo. Couldn't get one of the triplet embryos because the camera wasn't working.
Sorry for the terrible photo, macro just didn't want to work.
