Hello everyone.
I recently went down to feed my newts and it's like SNAILS took over within a matter of two days. I turn on their lights in the morning and turn them off at night and feed every other day but I had never really noticed it. It's out of control! One or two must have come on the plants we bought and just mated like crazy. Do snails do damage to the newts? If so, how do I get rid of them?

Other topic. I have three FBN. One is a little on the smaller side, but he was picked on by the other two guys and would stay up on the rocks more often and I fed him there. No big deal. Well, now the other guy is up, too, and they are ALWAYS together. I'm not sure what this behavior is but the other fat guy is perfectly content in the water and hasn't surfaced on land, ever. Do they always do this type of thing? Or is being out of the water a bad sign?

THANKS!

If you want to control the snail population put a peice of leatuce in there overnight and by morning it should be covered in snails.

Personally i always have snails in my tank.... If the tank is clean they never get out of control and eat up little bits a food ect..
