Smooth newt

Heres a smooth newt i found in my garage tonight, they are so cute, i hope they breed this year

how is your pond so clear? Have you got a filter? Everytime I clear mine out it just gets murky within a day!

Hey George, you can make the water crystal clear by attaching a UV light

A UV light on a pond?! not quite, lol

It's always very clear throughout winter, you should see it now, it's green beyond belief, all the frogspawn hasn't helped one bit, i hope it doesn't go stagnant, eek!

You can use a UV light inside you filtersystem, it helps to kill the algae's and the water stays clear then.
