Question: Smallest tank size for 3 axies?

Just in case I go a bit mad and get a third axie (these things are addictive!) what kind of size tank would I need for 3? I have a feeling my 3ft tank won't be big enough

I've kept 3 in a 30gal-long before, but they were smaller, around 7 inches. If you have larger sized axolotls, I'd go with a 4 foot tank. Plus, you get all the benefits of a big tank: water quality buffering, more room for hides, ease of decoration, etc.
