Best quality picture I have of the big guy. He's about four or five years old. You can't see the majority of him, which is upsetting, because he's something like seven to eight inches long, but...

This is his angry face!

I have a paddletail too, I named him "Slimy" or affectionately, "the Slimester." He's kind of a grouch too, but not as grouchy as a hedgehog! Of course just as beloved just for being who (s)he is.

Slowbro's a bottomless pit. I can give him a load of bloodworms and he'll still come out every time there's a bit of movement in front of his tank, expecting more.

I have three adult female guppies in Slimy's tank which have been pregnant numerous times, and I have NEVER seen even a single baby in that tank. In my other tank of Eastern and Firebelly newts, I at least see the babies for a couple of days before they disappear.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
