Skinny Newt dilemma

I have 5 N. Viridescence that I've had for about three months now. They've always been pretty healthy. Lately I noticed that two have gotten really big and look really healthy, one is really dark green. But the other three are looking pretty thin and are always out of the water. two of them I don't think I've ever seen eat unless I hand fed them. I've tried to watch for aggressive behavior but I haven't noticed any. I mainly feed them blood worms but every now and then I chop up redworms. Not sure what is wrong, perhaps a parasite. Any info would be helpful.
thanks.

Moving to land is a bad sign for easterns. Here is what I would try. Move the three skinny ones to a tank with a shallow water setup (about 1-2 inches of water) and see if that changes their behavior. Try hand feeding chopped worm.

I was thinking of giving that a try, I was going to use bloodworms but I just read that worms fatten them up real good. Thanks for the tip!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
