I'll post these without comment for now. Suffice it to say the bright silver coloration is not a photographic effect or the result of photo-editing software

Are they not air bubbles trapped on/under the skin? In the last 2 pics you can see the bubbles, particularly in the last one.

Ali, I'm not up on hip-hop culture so I had to look up the word "bling" but yeah, pretty flashy, eh?

That they are, only I've never before seen quite such an effect. I almost had a heart attack when I discovered this, and had to summon the wife to confirm I wasn't dreaming. Then a bubble or two appeared...and dashed my hopes. You may also have noticed a touch of silver on the newt on the left in the third picture from the bottom. That's the one I initially noticed, after first thinking I must've accidently dropped some aluminum foil or the shiny film from the frozen bloodworm packet into the tank. Alas, it was only a temporary condition...

Was it in the middle of shedding skin, or were the bubbles adhering to the outside of its skin??
I was fooled the first time I saw it though...

Bubbles under the loose skin, I imagine. Then again, I'm not sure...

That's funny! I remember the first time that my morphs went back into the water and this happened, I thought they had some sort of disease
