Silicone sealant

the company i ordered my shrimp strainer from is sending me a new one because the mesh is loose and all the shrimps get stuck under the plastic bit. they emailed me saying they have glued it down a bit more with silicone glue. is this ok? its not bad for the shrimps or baby axies is it?

As long as they used aquarium safe silicone sealant it'll be fine. They should know enough not to use something toxic, but ask them just to be sure!

Is it direct from the manufacturer? If so it will be stuck down with the same stuff it was made with originally, I'm sure they will know what they are doing.

yeah its direct from the manufacturer.

i have emailed them just to double check though
