Shipping advice needed

I'm looking to ship some baby C. Pyrrhogaster & it's winter now. I normally ship in fall or spring, priority 2 day. I'd like to ship 2 day this time, too, but don't know how to ensure the container will stay warm enough for the full trip. Any help is appreciated.

The only real concern is that it doesn't freeze. Either choose dates when the temperature is mild at both ends of the trip. Or pack the animals in an insulated container and a "cold pack" that starts out at *room temperature*. The cold pack will basically act to keep the animals "warm" (warmer than freezing) if the box is temporarily in a place below freezing. Be sure the recipient will be at home to receive the box so it isn't left outdoors in sub-zero cold.

Another enabler when using USPS Priority is to drop it off at the airport location. I use to live in SLC and would utilize the airport service center and it would often knock off that third day.

Thanks, Russ & Jen!
