Shells?

Is there any reason not to use seashells as decoration in an axie tank? I'm talking about large smooth shells like cowries, scallops, abalone and oysters.

I don't believe they would cause a problem with the water chemistry (according to fish forums) and it would look quite nice.

I was also thinking of decoratng a plant pot with smaller shells stuck on with silicone for a hide - any thoughts?
