Shedding question

Hi, so I was watching my tiger and he was acting differently, very rigid movements and then going floppy and not moving.
Turns out he was shedding!
I had not seen before so it was good to see, he hasn't eaten the skin so should I remove it or keep it in there?

Remove it. If it didn't get eaten fresh off the tail, they won't come back for it.
