Shedding in newts

my spanish ribbed newt has shed his skin and grown noticibly larger each time about4 times in the last 3 months and my eastern spotted has done so once. The spanish ribbed i feed pellets and on the bottle it says rapid growth and frequent shedding may occur. Has anyone else observed salamanders or newts shedding?

Newts and salamanders will always shed till the day they die. The frequency however depends on their growth rate.
