Shedding... how often?

My Oregon (rough-skinned) newt, Rowan, shed again tonight (being Thursday) and he just shed on.. I think it was Saturday. Is this normal? Seems to me a little frequent. I've never noticed him shedding this often. If it's abnormal, what could be wrong?

p.s. I'd like to upload an avatar for myself, how would I go about doing this?

Carly, from what Ive read of previous posts, frequent sheds could be a sign of bad water quality, or if its coming off in pieces it might be a sign of illness. Im hoping that its more along the line of normal shedding/growing. Im hoping that some one else with more information in this area will add to this. By the way, how did you get a taricha in Canada, even all the way in Ontario? I live in Edmonton and I cant seem to find any.

I got Rowan from a friend of mine who bought him at a Ruffins (which is a pet shop chain, not sure if you have them in Edmonton). But whenever I go into Ruffins they have them. I've had two others as well. I didn't realize they were rare.
