Need a little crowd source help

Noodle(6+ year old barred tiger) has been in decline for couple weeks. Shedding, clouded eyes and developing sores. Noticed the loss of appetite 3 weeks ago with the refusal of food. Treatment had included daily water changes(bottled spring water), weak iodine soaks, new substrate and the use of silver sulphadizine on the sores.

Substrate has been coconut substrate and Noodle has had 5 gallon tank with smooth bottom water pan for years.

Noodle Has had history of bumps(on tail on head) which vet gave the silver sulph. And a treatment of baytril 22.7 mg/ml to address issue and potential of bacterial issue noted in fecal panel.

Last vet visit was year ago. Pumps were mostly reabsorbed.

Last 2 weeks condition deteriorating and vet friend(not close by) is running thin of ideas without xray and lab work/cultures. Last local place did not have much herp experience and I felt more informed then the vet seemed.

Any thoughts or ideas to try? Calcium gluc? Salt bath?

Thanks for any help

-Tim

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
