Sexing Karelinii?

I was wondering what the first signs of sex differentiation are in karelinii? I have two morphs that are getting light blue spot on their backs, one is getting them on its tail, and all the others just seem to be all brown with darker black spots on their backs. Is this anything sex-wise or just natural variation between individuals? Anyone
 
I dont mean to be rude, but does anyone have an answer for me?
 
I've raised karelinii, but I don't really remember their color development in that much detail. The largest ones will usually tend to be female, but that's the only indicator I know of.
 
Thanks, I'll just wait to see how they develop. I am planning on giving some away once I know how many of each sex I have. 9 adult karelinii will eventually eat through my meager funds, haha.
 
I not sure if that has anything to do with there sex. The only thing to do is to give them more time to develop. When I got my karelinii it was a little over 3 in., within a week in the tank it had a crest, so it was obvious male.

How big are they?
 
When dividing any group of juveniles, it's a good idea to make each group diverse and random. In other words, don't divide them based on color or size, as this is likely to result in skewed sex ratios.
 
I woke up today and found one of my larger juvies is maybe growing a crest! it is only about 2mm at its largest point, but none of the females I have seen pictures of have any crest at all. also, his cloaca is larger, so I am going to go ahead and presume that it is a male. This blows my mind how fast they developed. It hasn't even been close to a year yet. I assume that since he is larger and the first to show sex differentiation, that he and the other three large juvies are my oldest. It is only a matter of time before the rest follow suit. thanks to everyone for all their help!

    Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
