Figured since I'm new I'd show off my 5 caudatans. I'm not a breeder, just a collector of exotic pets, mostly herps.

Tiger is my male Ambystoma tigrinum melanostictum. I've had him for about 13 years.

Its not often he gets mice, but my mice produced a surplus, so he got a treat.

Ambystoma maculatum, Pong-pong.

Sorry for all the pics, but now I've shown all the sallies.

Welcome. I see you are from Md. Are you going to IAD at Timmonium the end of April?

Hmm, maybe, what's that? I'm not actually from Maryland, I'm from North Dakota. I just moved here this month after spending the last 7 months in Texas. Are you in MD?

Hi Matt,
International Amphibian Days is a week end conference that involves an amphibian show where c.b. amphibians and supplies are offered for sale, lectures, and an auction. I'm from Pa. but go to some of the Md. shows

Cool. I'll have to see if I can work it into my schedule somewhere. Sounds like a lotta fun

I think that Tiger is the cutest little guy I've ever seen. Especially those mice pics. Very photogenic

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
