All the babies that I kept from my first batch succumbed to the lack of heat in my house, but the 14 that I kept from the second batch seem to be doing well. I know they should be separated around 1" or so so they don't start nibbling on each other, but what's the best method to separate them? Mine are currently in an open Tupperware container, and I have a portable aquarium thing that I could put them in as well as other shallow containers.

Thanks :)

I keep mine in 5L shoe storage tubs, 10-12 in each, and I've never had an issue with nibbling.

I would split them into 2 groups of 7, in large tubs, and keep them well fed - they tend to go for each other when food is more of an issue.
