Hey,
I have a c. orientalis, and he already really likes bloodworms, earthworms and daphnia. I wanted to try him on some brine shrimp as well, but can't seem to find them in any shops near me.
So, I know they are the same thing as the sea monkey things that are aimed at kids (where they come in a packet and you tip them into water and they hatch or something...) and read that I could feed my newt them.
I was wondering, can I buy a packet of these sea monkey egg-things then for like, £5 and hatch them myself to feed him? Is there a difference between the things you get in a packet that you then hatch yourself, and the ones you buy live? Are they really unhealthy and not good for newts or something??
Just wondered because it seems a bit odd to me that you can buy them in a sachet and then they hatch =/ This might be a silly question though haha!
Thanks guys
