Finally have sorted out the tank after having nothing short of a disaster when my other half changed the water and didn't dechlorinate it which caused all my kids to get rather ill and I lost one sadly. My partner redeemed himself by replacing the one i lost with this little fellow, which i've called Yin 2 (or Baby as he's now affectionately known by due to his small size) and I thought I'd share. He's got a small deformity in his left arm which makes it look like it's been broken at some point, but he's quite mobile and it doesn't appear to hinder him.

me too Rob, I was starting to get utterly exhausted with the daily waterchanges and feeding and stressing about them all. Cross your fingers that the water stays good.

Banana boy is probably the wackiest axie i've seen, his gills must have been damaged when he was younger and they've grown back at really weird angles and really long gills.

Yin2 is eating like a little vulture, he's actually putting the ones twice his size to shame

What a cutie..... My axies gills never get that red. ...and they are pretty short in comparison.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
