Sand size

Hi all. Does anybody know if sand with bits of stone up to 0.2 millimetres in size is safe for axies, even if they eat it? As this sorta sand is real easy to clean with a syphon.

Thanks in advance

before i realised that gravel wasnt good for axies, mine was managing to pass gravel up to 5mm so im pretty sure 0.2mm wouldnt be a problem. although someone else may know better.

Oops, I meant the sand grains are 0.2 cm, which is 2 millimetres. Not 0,2 mm. Would this be a problem?

Anybody? Any experience on this sand size? Don't want any probs for axies, but this sand is lots easier to clean

Ok, so a girl I share an apartment with has now gone and bought this size sand and put it in my axie tank... Apparently the lady at the aquarium shop said she knows about axies, and its ok. Am not too sure, tho. Worried about my axies getting blocked....They tend to eat sand when sniffing for food..
Should I leave it or take it all out? If any chance of blocking, I'll take sand out straight away... so this sand/grain is approx 2mm...
