For the past month or so I have been making weekly youtube episodes of various species of salamanders native to east tennessee, as I make more episodes there is less to make episodes of, My goal is to make an episode on hellbenders and mudpuppies by the 10th episode. I make these to educate people in this area about the salamander diversity around them and to encourage people in other areas to go out and find their native species and be aware of them. I want to make people want to be more careful and protect habitats after they see what lives in them in my videos. Episode 5 is dedicated to my favorite species, Pseudotriton ruber in the wild. Many more episodes to come!
