My tiger salamander's getting close to being a year old. He doesn't seem to be eating as much as he used to. Is it normal for them to do this as they stop growing? Or could there be something else wrong?

Depending on where you are in the US, we're heading on into winter, and most caudates eat less in the winter.

I agree with Kaysie. My Tiger drops activity levels this time every year. August gets hot and he burrows, comes out a while right before cold, and dissappears until march-april. Then he resumes eating heavily again.
