I have Northwestern Salamander larvae that are a couple months old - they appear to be healthy, but do not really aggressively pursue food.
The sit and wait, and only when live food is within 3mm or so of their heads do they eat.
Is this normal? Do they eventually learn how to pursue food that is more than 3mm away?
