yes....lookin good. what kinda species are you keeping in there?

In the bottom there are tiger salamander (2), gray tree frog (1), green tree frog (1)

In the top there are blue-spotted salamander (3), spotted salamander (3), dusky salamander (3)

all eat extremely well.

the cages look cool, but....

how big are the tanks?

im gonna tell you flat out I beleive that there are to many animals in them

The top is a 40 gallon long
The bottom is a 55 gallon long

I've had them in this setup for almost a year and have never had any problems so far. All are healthy and eat well. Food are crickets of various sizes and earthworms.

The tree frogs only come down from the top of the tank to eat and the tigs have never bothered them during feeding time. I watch closely.

I love the wood work on that setup.. lovely carveings ... i'd love to see some pictures of your animals. I dont think 9 small sals in a 55 gallon long is to much, i would say thats probably where you should stop though! Good Luck to you!

there is a pic of one of my spotted salamanders in the general photogallery under "peek-a-boo"... check him out. hes always hidin in his log. I'll post more soon.

it's only a matter of time. better seperate them before it's too late.
