I am buying a 20 tall and plan to put 15 gallons of water in it ... i am just wondering where would be safe to put it ... i only have a dresser and a nightstand both are compressed wood ... is that strong enough?

Only you can check the strength of your furniture ;)
has the dresser got sturdy legs? Can you stand on it - does it creak with the weight?

15gal + tank weight will be roughly 150pounds so you need toast sure before you install it - perhaps you can prop the dresser up with bricks if the legs aren't strong.

Have fun setting it up & don't be too impatient to stick your axolotl in - wait for the tank to cycle properly before adding axolotls :)

I am currently cycling my Betta tank right now and I hate it ... but I know not to rush, I am actually downsizing my.Betta filter and giving them hos ( its a 10 gallon filter) my dresser doesn't have legs ... the full structure goes down to the floor

I am working on another tank right now so I am learning patience ... my Betta tank needs cycled then I am using his tank to cycle my future ADF's filter then last but not least is the axolotl's ... but I don't want to get my hopes up if my furniture wont even hold them

Sounds like I am going home and sitting on my nightstand lol

it didnt even budge under my weight ... now i need to see how things work out when i move :)

See it's an easy way to work out how strong furniture is ;) lol

I hope it all works out well :D
