You kidding me? He did it on purpose or did he forget that the lid needed to stay on? Sorry to hear about this Sean, hopefully you might find them, either way get him to pay for losing them!

Accident didnt secure lid one was still in box found one dead and other two completely disappeared. Raging their colours were coming up so nicely.

Do you know why it died? Were they basically left open a few days or? Accident or not he should compensate you for basically touching what isnt his lol

It was less then 12 hours. It seemed really cold and dry. Hopefully find more beautiful newts a shame.

Sorry to hear.... I was in Iraq when I bought the newts of my dream (n. kaiseri). Fortunately my wife had committed to helping me with them while I was deployed. Unfortunately 2 days after she had picked them up she informed me that she left the lid open and ALL 4 had got out. Lucky for me (and her, haha) she found all.
