Had 19 little swimmers hatch from a clutch of eggs over the last week or so. Lost a few which I expected. Last night before bed there were 17 fat happy critters. When I got home this evening 10 had died and it looks like 4 more may be on the way out. I put everyone in a seperate container with fresh water tonight.
The room was around 75 degrees or so which was a surprise since the rest of the house felt cool. It was overcast and near 70 outside. I have a fan blowing over the containers now and will leave the door open with a fan in it tomorrow.
Anything else I can do to help my babies? I'm pretty heartbroken, feel like a bad parent.
