I've heard someone using this in their tank for his firebelly newts. Is it really suitable for an aquarium? If yes, is it axie proof?

Thank you. Well, thank you. :)

I wouldn't use it. There are plenty of plastic grass mats designed specifically for aquarium use.

I know its probs been asked a million times but im not very plant savvy so...
Is there a true aquatic plant that looks like grass or some sort of astroturf stuff that looks realistic that i could put in a part of my tank to look like grass?

I have a sand substrate so either something i could anchor it in there, or something that would just sit on the top would do but i want it to be some sort of live plant.
i guess something similar to this https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=g...pooky-woodland-oatfishs-tank.5320%2F;1024;617
