My 20 babies aren't quite up to the rehoming stage yet, (no back legs as of yet) but since I now have 6 new future axie owners to educate, I was hoping you could give me some advice.
I have already:
- ensured the number of babies they are getting will fit happily in their allocated tank sizes as adults
- suggested they read axolotl.org and join caudata.org (1 new joiner so far)
- told them they need to cycle their tanks (most are starting this week)
So far I plan to:
- help with their tank set-ups (NO gravel, plenty of hides, no bright lights etc.)
- suggest a cleaning routine (daily poop scoops and weekly water changes)
- make sure they are feeding the right foods (bloodworm, earthworm, maybe pellets & the occasional guppy)
- provide a great care sheet (anybody know one)
Thanks all!
