I guess this is a question for John. When I post newt videos on YouTube, I'd like to add "for more information on xxx, refer to www.caudata.org." Is this allowed?

I picked up a copy of Dick Bartlett's book on the twenty five best herps to keep this weekend and noticed that caudata.org is listed as an excellent online reference for newts and salamanders. Sorry Dick but I cannot remember the exact wording of the title right now.

Many thanks to Dick for that. The ever-growing horde of caudata.org users might be Dick's fault .

Whenever someone uses one of my salamander photos (which has been a handful of times) I always ask for my credit to be John Clare www.caudata.org. I believe at least 2 of the books honoured my request.
