Hi I have a few babies I have raised from eggs however two have caught red leg.
They are rubbed with daily water changes using prime
What can cause this ?
I have been to the vet and have baytril oral 10% however when I gave it to my sxolotl I think it stressed him out that much he passed away he was not moving for 5mins upside down I took him out onto my hand and didn't move I have his wee belly a few pushes and he came back to life and started walking about.
My question is what's caused this why only 2 of 3 who are kept in same conditions
The two that's caught it are very small compared to the other.
How likely are they to survive ?
I'm now going to put the antibiotic into their tub for 8hrs a day how likely will this help ?
