Hello.
I've noticed alot of anole-pertaining threads and was hoping I'd get some help:
Recently I got my weekly General Exotics Newsletter, and 1 of the new in-stock animals was "Red Anole". I checked webpage and it did not say anything about the scientific name, origin, habitat, care, etc. It only said "turns red when hot". Can anybody give me some information on this species so I at least know what it is?

From what I know, this could just be a Red Brick morph.

Brown Anoles...... Two in found in the US. Cuban anole (Anolis sagrei) bright red orange throat fan and Bahaman (Anolis s. ordinatus.) yellow throat fan with red blotches. Both introduced into Florida. More Aggressive than out native green anoles. I caught a few while in Orlando a few years ago standing in a line at Disney. They seem to prefer the ground while the green anoles I caught were 5 or 6 feet up. Don't pay more than 7 dollars and that is a high pet store price. I see them at show for 3 dollars. I've never heard of a Red Anole before But here is a picture of a nice red morph that I would pay 7 dollars for Brick Red Anole Lizard on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
