I've had difficulties in pyrrhogaster babies growth (they morph really tiny, 2-2,5 cm) and that of course makes it lot harder to keep them alive on terrestial stage for me. Today I got two newly hatched babies accidently in siphon and this idea crossed my mind. I have ensicaudas (two males so no babies ever there) downstairs in same room with h. orientalis and orientalis aquatic growth is better so I've assumed it's due temperature (18-19, pyrrhos 20 celsius) since all the other basic care is same. What are the risks if I try what happens with these two guys? Pathogens - rest of their life -> difficulties in re-homing them as adults, as it could be harmful to other pyrrhos? Is that a real problem when I suppose all my newts are WC and probably traveled hard with all sorts of tankmates? Being eaten is not something I worry. Could this harm my ensicaudas?
I can't start another raising tank and feel most comfortable growing babies with adults (no extra work). Probably just let them back with pyrrhos, just wondering...
