1. When do u start to see if an egg is a dud or alive and well

2. My female is refusing food atm is this normal

3. Can the canabiles the eggs

4. If some eggs dont stick to a plant are they ok on the ground

Hey Alex, congrates on the eggs!!

I have just hatched my first lot of eggs as my first batch were all duds

My girl put her eggs on plants, hard surfaces, the ground even the glass! they all turned out fine. I moved my eggs out of the tank away from mumma and dadda- to be on the safe side! pretty sure they are ok until the babies start moving then M&D maybe interested in eatting them!

My girl 'Alfred' was a little funny on food for a day or so, but I just keep offering her at different times. I also found she was still dropping eggs for 2 days....not sure if that is why! its a lot of work for her to lay all the eggs so keep with it! Once Alfred got eatting she was big time hungrey!
