Hi guys! I have about a one and a half year old axolotl, and I was just curious your opinion on how many of these pellets I should feed in total a week (see pic attached)? I attached both the brand and the size of the pellets in comparison with my hand. I feel as though I may be over feeding, but my axie acts like I’m under feeding. Also, I know that pellets are not the best staple diet for Axolotls —but mine refuses any type of worm no matter what kind or how I prepare them. I just want to make sure I’m feeding her correctly. Thanks so much!

Have you tried live worms? Or wiggling frozen defrosted worms in front of it? That normally works!

I'm not sure if you can overfeed, as long as you're cleaning up any leftovers it should be fine to try and feed more.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
