Question about filter and chiller

Are these ideal to help filter my tank better and to drop it a couple degrees?
Filter--->Zoo Med Save Your Reptiles 501 at PETCO
Chiller--->Aquarium pet Water-chiller Temperature 10%OFF ATC-300 | eBay...and this is a chiller correct not a thermometer?

The 501 is a good filter for your 20 gal tank. The chiller you linked to is just the controller not the chiller.

Quick question, i have a fan blowing on my tank already to help keep it cool but many of the cheap coolers i have been able to find are just fans, would adding like 3 tiny fans make my tank any cooler at all?

Adding a fan or two can be enough to drop your temps 5 degrees f.or more
