I recently came up with the rules for endangered and non endangered salamanders and other amphibians for Indiana. I wondered if it would be ok to post it somewhere on the site? I have the link if it is permitted. If not I will just keep it for my own knowledge. <3 Thanks for your time.

I think as long as it is not a commercial link, you are welcome to post it!

Rei I would love to know more about Indiana laws about herping. Living in Illinois I would like to head into areas of Wisconsin and Indiana and look for different animals to photograph that we dont have native in Illinois.

Ok I will post the most common question about our regulations and also the Indiana state law page. :)

On an different note despite our cold snap my neighbor (knowing I am a vet tech and have snakes xD) brought over a yellow spotted salamander that fell out of one of his fireplace logs. I am afraid to put the little guy outside because our temp right now is 7 below 0. Dx I am afraid he will freeze. What can I keep him in until it warms up a bit? I am going to take some pics of him to post as soon as our digital camera charges. :)

You can keep him in a tupperware with a damp, unbleached paper towel. The beginning of next week should be warmer (they're calling for near freezing temps up here, anyway), and once it's near freezing, you can find a place to put it near where it was (probably) collected.

The forum has a whole section devoted to laws and regulations. You are welcome to post the links there too.
