Question: Quarantine decorations?

I've never really quarantined anything before except fish and I've read on hear about people quarantining different things. What I'm wondering is there are some fake plants and a few decorations at walmart that I want to buy, Should I quarantine them?

no, you only quarantine live things in case they have some illness that could be passed onto your axolotls.

You can q plants, but it really isn't something I'd ever do. If it is a tank I want to be sure doesn't get a snail population I would use a heavy salt bath on the plants before adding them. Don't really see how deco would need q, unless you went out and found it yourself?

Just give them a good scrub to remove any dirt/debris/chemicals which may have landed on them during shipment/display.
