Puking siren

Hello, my name is Chris. Im new to the forum, i got an account a while ago , but i never really got the chance to post, due to time issues. However, i have a question about the two sirens that i have. I dont know how old they are, and i havent measured them , but if i had to say just by looking , I would say they are around a foot long. I have kept axos since i was very young, so when i saw these enigmatic little guys i did some digging and after much research decided to get them. So far they are eating like pigs, but the problem is with one on the sirens, the chunky or thickest one. After gorging on worms, she vomits them up roughly twenty minutes later, then she eats them again! As far as i know she doesnt throw up a second time. Does anyone here have any idea what could be going on? ive had axos that do it ocasionally, but this siren does it everytime he/she eats! any help would be much appreciated.

have you tried feeding her less?-give more time between feeding less-i had this issue when id feed as much as my tigers would eat then theyd chuck it up-and not re eat it-and the water would foul. since sirens are such ravenous eaters i'd just limit their uptake, i have to do that with my pipa pipas anyways due to when they eat worms they spend a few hours just keeping them in and more worms =more potential escapes. in the wild they wouldnt run across so much food at once -so they are prone to gorging.

well i guess im going to have to put her on a diet then! thank you very much for the advice, i think im going to have to start feeding more mobile lively live food like ghost shrimp in addition to less worms, mabey he/she will get her excercise chasing them around the water hyacinth.
