I would not use that, I have an axolotl witch I traded for 2 own my own and there is still comming black gravel out of it. He looks a lot like this one, if he was a little bit smaller he probably would have died because of the gravel causing a constipation.

@ SanderB I'm not using gravel, I'm using sand. I did my research on here and was told many times this type was safe for axies.

@ totallyrad Yes it is black sand! Try looking for "Tahitian moon sand", that's the kind I got.
