Problem threads

It might be a thread that is sent to the moderators for authorisation?
 
I saw that thread yesterday morning, & tried to comment, but it became invalid while I was writing my comment.

Enrico- I thought your newt's throat colour (yellow with black spots) was typical of karelinii. Also the grey spots on the back seem more common in karelinii than in other species.
 
How mysterious. I still can see it...perhaps its my magic powers.

Oh no!! I had deleted it yesterday, there was a duplicate post of this one and it was deleted. I suspect one of the other Mods may have been moderating at the same time and possibly deleted the other duplicate. I am so sorry . I have restored the one I deleted, but the pictures are missing. enricolatiano, could you re-post your pictures onto the original thread ?

The thread had become unapproved, hence why it disappeared to everyone but mods.

Try it now, it should be back.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
