Potentially sick newt/ need advice

I've have a red spotted newt for 5 years. While it is moving slower than usual about the tank (29 gal) I've noticed the skin from under its front legs to the underside of its lower jaw seriously ballooning. It also appears to have not been eating as it has lost weight/bulk. What can I do?

Do you have a picture?
Is the rest of it 'ballooning'? or just the jaw?
Has the water temperature been higher recently?

It can happen that a form of bloat affects only part of the body, such as the neck.
