I posted this, as I wanted to ask whether or not larval Notophthalmus viridescens could be housed with a single adult. I know that adults of other species will eat eggs and larvae, but wondered if it would be different for notos because (if I'm not mistaken), the larva are toxic. I am only considering this because the adult tank has tons of tiny microorganisms that would make great food for the larvae, and the tank is pretty empty with only one adult (10 gallon).
Thanks for any knowledgeable answers I receive, it is greatly appreciated.
Edit: I found the answer, they will eat the larvae. Thanks to those who viewed.
