Is this any good for when doing water changes?
I have a pond in my garden, so I know that no chemicals etc go into it and all the fish are healthy.
so I was wondering whether it would be safe to use when doing a water change? the pond is quite big so the little bit of water that is taken is barely noticable, and then topped up with rain. I've just checked all the water parameters (never done this on the pond before) and they are all perfect.
What are your thoughts?

That's an interesting thought. All I can say is, I raise my larvae in pond water, and it seems to work very well.

I can't see a problem with it, after all it has been aged by nature for you. But its always better to test it on a regular basis just to be sure.

Thanks both of you, I'll give it a go
If it's o.k for lavae then it should be o.k
Thanks

The only 'problem' that I can see is any potential hitch-hikers that may be residing in the pond.
