Plasterers sand

thought id start a new post as the other one probably wont get much response

anyone know how safe this is? its pretty fine and has had no chemicals added says the guy. just wondering what its made of, it looks like ordinary sand but hey, i didnt take sand studies at school lol. i have it in my axie tank now and im monitering them

It's probably OK. Does it say anything on the bag, like "silica" or the size of the grains? Was it dusty, or cloud the water?

it wasnt dusty and it made the water brown (when i was washing it) but that happened with my other sand aswell. it doesnt say anything on the bag haha. ive been watching them and it seems alright. the grains are pretty small, enough to show the marks where their toes dug in but not enough to show tail drag things. thanks jen
