What plants are safe for axolotl? Currently in bare tank and I want to provide some interest and possibly breed.

most plants sold at a pet store are safe for all aquatic animals. the trick is finding plants that will do well in low light and cooler temperatures. in my tank currently i have moss balls, java moss and an anubias nana.

Thanks.I have lots of java moss but never do well with moss balls. Will also put some plastic ones I think. I may keep them indoors as worried about summer temps in fish house even if kept on the floor.

keeping axies cool is important. i have a mix of live and plastic. i assume as long as the water parameters are in check and the temperatures they will lay eggs on anything
